Default 97 Acura CL 3.0

Wuts up all. Just bought (what the title says) and I have to replace the rear brake lines and fuel lines.... No big deal, I will be doing this myself... The problem is, is that I dont know the damn size of the rear brake lines! Does anybody know? Couldnt find anywhere else...

Its kind of weird about this car because when I lifted the car up I noticed that only half of the car has undercoating. From the front to the middle of the car (undercoating) and from the middle of the car back (no-undercoating)

So what I need is:

Rear brake line size?

Fuel line size?

Thanks in advance

Are you replacing the rubber lines? anyway here's a diagram.
brake line

fuel lines

Acura site doesn't list sizes just the certain part, go in there and search for what you need.

I am replacing parts of the metal line. I am going to cut where the lines are good and replace the rusted lines.

Which is harder/safer replacing the entire line or cutting the rusted part and re-welding new ones on?, assuming that is the method of choice.

No welding will be involved. No need to replace the whole line either. By bubbling the ends of the line I will join the cut line and new line by couplers. Its just as safe as if I was to replace the whole line. Its just another joint in the connection.

I gotcha, well my knowledge is limited about the topic.

My approach would be to buy OEM lines cut them and weld, not sure if that's a smart idea.

You shouldn't weld brake lines or fuel lines. You cut out and make fittings on either end. Depending on the line it sometimes easier to buy the whole thing ready to go.
