This is my daily driver I bought from an old lady for $400. It's completely stock, automatic and slow as hell.. but I've always felt attached to it ever since I discovered that the stamped date of manufacture exactly matched my birthday. Anyway, I take good care of it, and just recently put some paint on it to make it look good again. Thanks for checking it out!

Oh if anyone's wondering whats up with the red wheels, they are stock... but I had red paint left over... so figured why not.

 

Well this is what happens when your going down the left lane on a 1-way... and some jerk-off just ahead of you takes a sudden left turn from the right lane.

I've managed to find all the parts I need except one. Anyone happen to know where those black-plastic headlamp doors could be found? There are tons on ebay for regular 84-85 civics, but the correct crx ones are proving to be harder to find than Jimmy Hoffa.

Any help would be appreciated, thanks.

 

oh man! this is what happens when you join honda tech.. haha! ouch! i love the dealer add-ons like the bumperettes and the louvers. i would have left the wheels silver myself, but it's your car. that looks like a really early 84 man!

as for the head light buckets, ebay and RPR are your best bets..

No luck on craigslist so far, but yep definitely been checking that as well.

Hey E-AT, when you mentioned "dealer ad-ons" that reminded me that the lady I bought it from was the original owner. She still had the dealer papers for it, so I scanned a couple of them in.

I like the part at the bottom of the gas estimate... $1.25/gal for gas, hahahaha... I wish

yeah I feel the same way about the 84 CRXs. I was born in early 84 so if I could find one that was my b-day too it would rock, but I never liked the 1st gen CRXs. I am more into the 2nd gen.
