Hey!!

This may be a stupid questions.. But I am trying to find some rails for my recaros to fit in my R and they are like $280.. I was wondering if I could save that and use my stock rails?? Does this work?? What is the difference??

Let me know!!! ASAP I am stoked to get them in my car.. It is annoying to look at them on the floor in my room hahahahhaha

You can't use stock rails. The mounting points to the seats are completely different. You will need to dish out the cash for aftermarket rails. OEM JDM ITR rails will be cheaper but harder to find alone.

 

Thanks, I was searching all over the internet.. It appears my clutch slave cylinder has given up working so I had some spare time (when the car isn't going anywhere) to take the seat out and take a look.. The OEM ones mount on the side and the recaro ones mount on the bottom.... thanks for you reply!!

 

If you want to sell your OEM ITR seat rails, shoot me a PM with a price. That might help offset the cost of the Recaros for ya.
