Default need help with my 93 GS-R with A/C

ok everyone I have a 93 GS-R that I just picked up here a few days ago and I learned something new or at least I hope I did. Apparently these cars had an option for A/C it was not a standard feature and of course this cars original owner elected to buy this car without it. (goof ball I know). Any who I have access to the entire setup off another 1991 integra but it is an automatic. I don't think that will matter as far as a/c is concerned but my question is this.... Do these car come from the factory pre-wired for a/c or do I need any wiring. If I need wiring will the harness from an automatic work. Any help would be appreciated

no it has no ac switch. I confirmed from acura yesterday that these cars had an option for ac and that it wasnt standard, so the entire car is set up for no ac

I have to agree if it is a GS-R then someone has done an A/C deleat, meaning all wiring should be there. 94

My 92 LS was special-ordered as a/c delete from the factory, at least according to the previous owner. Perhaps it was possible to special-order a GS-R as well?

At any rate, mine didn't have the a/c wiring harness, but I got one from a donor car and it plugged right in to the main harness. The terminals for it were behind the passenger side headlight and sealed up with blue tape.

Never really saw an answer on the VIN, and o don't expect you to post it up here, but is there at least a DB2 in there somewhere?

i have never seen a gs-r without a/c. but since these cars area already rare maybe i would just leave it to make it that much more unique.

Oh, and Congrats on your purchase! I know I loved my GS-R to death! It was white, perfect interior, and just a really fun car in general.

Why do you say that when OP just said Acura confirmed that A/C was an option on those cars, and not standard? He obviously has one that didn't come with the A/C option.

thanks, yeah I work for honda and we also have an acura dealership. we pulled one of the original brochures and it say optional as far as ac goes but honda put them in most all of the gs-r built unless you opted to not have it.

yeah I checked the title and db2 is there, that was the first thing I looked for.
