96 accord h22 swap ok thought my dizzy would work but didnt so l got one at junkyard. it has external coil and dif plug setup. accord had one big 5 wire plug,prelude has 2 plugs but 1 with 3 and other has 2 so still the 5. could l just cut and connect wires and eliminate oem connector?

also intermediate shaft and axle on driver side came off 5 speed accord but l have to pull and stretch axle to get nut on end do l need longer axle or will it be ok?

 

also shifter cables kinda binding up ive routed them dif ways to find best position but still doesnt seem to have enough play. went over rear mount and beside only real options. need some help please

honestly im reading it and i cant figure out what your saying. trying to use an accord dizzy with the h22? is it jdm? and what harness did you use for the swap..? accord?

yes jdm h22 l tried accord dizzy and using accord harness. it has 5 wires on accord harness but one big plug. h22 uses external coil and ha 2 plugs but still 5 wires. l am using a msd coil so im wondering can l depin accord dizzy connector and connect wires from h22 dizzy to accord connector and still use wire for msd coil???

 

Sorry dude idk. my h22 was internal. but if your using the accord external im thinking it would use same plug ins. so tell me this. if you plug them all in . and still have one plug from the harness or from the dizzy still not plugged in? and try to start it, it wont start correct? but gives some kind of almost wanting tto turn over? i might know a trick for you...

 

havent tried to crank yet still have few things to do. dizzy l have has 2 plugs and accord had one big one with 5 wires on big single plug. h22 has 2 plugs 1 with 3 wires and 1 with 2 so 5 wires still total running to either dizzy

 

why not use the H harness. im using a b series harness on my h. ill check mine out to see if i have 5 wires lata
