eg civic build
hello everyone. this is my first honda project.in march of 2010 i bought a 1993 civic coupe. the body was in ok shape, had little rust, but it was recently painted pink.

me n my dad then put a jdm b16 in it.

i did not like the pink paint so me and a buddy got together and did alot of body work on it and painted it kiwi greeen. this is how she turned out

a few months after i got it done, i was heading to work on a foggy morning and a tractor and trailer hauling cow manure pulled out in front of me and i t-boned him

as u can see it destroyed my whole front end. luckily the guy that was driving the tractor and trailer drove for mennonites and the are self insured, it took me two months to get a check from them, but i got more then enough ;-)
immediatly me and my dad started working on it, we cut out the old rad support and put in a new one we got from a local salvage yard, all in about 3 hrs of work

here it is with new rad support, sorry for shitty pic

and as of right now, its sitting like this

but ive bought eagle rods, wiseco 8.5:1 comp pistons, a sls shorty turbo manifold, a 38mm tial mvs waste gate, blox vaccum block, xenecron 255lph fuel pump omni 3 bar map sensor,a nice catch can with 6 fittings. and as we speak right now the motor is being built by hersheys racing engines. im keeping stock sleeves. its only gonna be a weeked warrior.

.
and as soon as this snow melts some im gonna finish dropping the motor, and im gonna shave, and wire tuck.
i also bought this tonight,

as the motor comes and i do work on it i will update every chance i get.

Thanks guys. Only updates are my fuel pump came, and i sold my gt3s today. I'm still waitin for the bottom end and now I just need to figure out the best turbo for my build. That will be my next purchase. I'm leaning toward precision 5758 or 6262....

ok guys sorry it took so long to update.my lap top took a ****. but i got my bottom end back.

wiseco 8.5:1 pistons; file fit the rings
eagle rods
acl race bearings
arp mains, arp head studs
crank was cryogenically frozen
itr cams
sls shorty turbo manifold
tial 38mm mvs wastegate
precision 6262 turbo

ive decided that i am going to shave the engine bay and wire tuck.
the old b16 is pulled and ive started removing the seam sealer

ill update as much as possible alos i got a new set of wheels, but i dunno if ima keep them for sure, lmk what ur opinions are on the wheels

major slacking on the updating of the thread (still needs a new computer), but work is still being done on this car. i stopped and saw it last night. he's the passenger side of the bay almost done and id say the drivers side is about half done. i'll see if i can snap some pics for him if i slide over there later today
I've definitely slacked on getting my computer!! But the car is getting resprayed completely next weekend!! Bay is shaved. I'll get pics of it b4 and after it's sprayed
ok sorry for the long wait for the update but its finally painted. i decided to paint the engine bay plum crazy purple. i bought top of the liine paint (dupont). i have a total of 1500 in paint alone...def more then what i wanted to spend but it turned out well...lmk what u guys think
