Radio Code?
Battery died on 03 Odyssey. Need to enter a five digit code for the factory CD player to work again. There's a nine digit number inside my glove box. The middle number is a 0, so I don't have a set five digit code there to enter. Ideas? ...w/o having to go to Honda.
try pressing 1 and 6 at the same time...
i know this works on later model crvs but its a shot..
it should show the codes on the screen, if not you have
to remove the head unit yourself then get the seriel on
the back.. before going to a dealership or worst, youll
be charge for them to do that for you and reset the code....

Try this, just used it for the wife's Pilot:

you'll need VIN, S/N of radio (maybe that code in the glove box) or can be obtained by holding 1 and 6 and turning on the radio, at least for the 08 Pilot, and current registration info.
If not you can call a dealer with the S/N and they should give it to you if they can verify ownership.

1 and 6 at the same time just did an instant error.
But that website was amazing! Thankfully I knew all the info and fast than the blink of an eye I had my code. Just reinstalled and works like new.
Kinda shocked how much easier it was to uninstall/reinstall the radio, than my 4th gen Accords, 2nd gen CRX's, and 5th gen Civic.

I just got a new transmission on my Honda 2005 and cost me a lot. I really don't want to spend anymore money on little things like this. I did the "Press and hold the 1 and 6 radio preset buttons, and turn ON the device". U2801 L2623 Can anyone help me get a 5 number code. I check the glove compartment for a sticker code and the hand book for a white card. nothing found. thx!
ethanb25,
Your device serial number is : 28012623. Go here: https://radio-navicode.honda.com/
click on the "get codes" tab, and enter your information and as long as it matches the info on file it will come back with the code to enter.

turn the radio off. push 1 and 6 at the same time, while holding that push the power button. if the serial number does not come on, the you have to remove the radio to get the serial number
