my friend just got a 96 prelude. 5spd, S. When i found out it only had 135 h/p i was amazed...then he popped the hood and it was pretty funny. He paid 6,300 for it with 91k miles on. I personally think he got jipped. He wants it faster, what would be the best thing. H22a swap? Could you fit a b18c5 in there? Thanks, also i heard this motor has low compression so should he condsider turbo. thanks

 

actually, no he didn't get jipped.

turbo would be really pointless as the potential for the f22 motor just isn't there.

swap would be the best alternative.

 

definitely swap with H22. You will be way happier with that engine then you could ever be with doing anything with your engine now. plus you could always put a turbo,supercharger, or nitrous on the H22!

 

f22b1 is alot stronger than you think. those can be found super duper cheap
