If it is Si to Si yeah it will work fine.

I've heard that all of the 88-91 d series heads are exactly the same except for the cam and valve springs. Any head will definately fit, but someone please confirm the fact of them being the same.

You can use any d-series head from 88-2000, even the sohc vtec ones. some will change your compression ratio though.

I believe the head for the DX is the same as the Si, but the camshaft is different.

You would really want another Si head because it produces allot more compression than Dx head can..i believe its cause of the combustion chambers...You can tell if it is an si head or not my the stampings on the front it should say either Pm3/6 or Pm3/7.....please correct me anyone if i am wrong. IF you can try to get a 89 Si head or a 91 si head....those are the best years...just cause of the fact that the cams are higher lift than the 88.....And i recommend running the 91 crx si computer cause it makes the most power and the rev limiter is at 7500 rpm. IF you wanna know more just IM me on AIm or email me....hope this helped

ok, I'm buying a cylinder head from my friend. How would I know if it's from an Si? It has a complete rocker arms and cams, is there a stamp or something? I see a PM6 stamp on it.. it'll try to post some pics.

all honda heads have a stamp on the side of the exhaust manifold that says the ECU code.... for example... my STD head says PM9... an SI ehad should have PM6 stamped on it..... just look at the stamp...
