Best upgrades using stock parts...
I have a 92 Honda Civic Si hatch. What i mean by the topic is....I dont want to get "bigger" calipers and such or change out to different models. What is the best upgrades to the brakes using the calipers and clearances i have now.
I read a comment and someone just said...... Brembo blanks and Hawk Pads. If thats it thats the way I'll go. Any other opinions?

fresh rotors, good pads, fresh high quality fluid, and some stainless lines...that's about all you can do since you don't wanna change anything out for bigger and or better stuff.
You should consider changing things out. There are a lot of benefits to be had by going with a "bigger" set up. This is relatively cost effective as well.
Accord Wagon front calipers (will bolt in with no modification)
Prelude Vtec rotors (redrilled for 4x100)
Motul 5.1 brake fluid for everyday driving
SS brake lines (yes they will fit without modification)
brake pads of your choice
The OEM rear disc brakes could use a refresh, meaning balanced OEM rotors and matching brake pads.
This is the preferred set up for Jeff Evans.

Personally i'd just upgrade to some integra knuckles and front brakes (you'll need the master cylinder, brake booster and proportioning valve as well), '94 - '97 non ABS will bolt up perfectly.

GL man.
ALso, i know you mention master cylinder, booster and prop valve. My 92 Si came with stock discs all the way around. I've read so many different sources........you sure I need this? I'm gonna double check what prop valve I actually have as I've seen 4030 and 4040. I read that the booster would make the pedal feel too soft. So can I use what i have with my 92 Si, or do I try and find a 90-91 Civic EX master cylinder? Too much information has gotten me confused.
just a tip, slotted and drilled rotors will act as a cheese grater on your pads if its a dd. thats the reason i didnt put them on mine. too bad cuz they look sweet.
So i went and checked, and i can see 3040 stamped on my prop valve. So i guess, can i use what i have, or do i need:
1.brake booster, master cylinder, and prop valve
2.master cylinder and prop valve
3. master cylinder only
4.use what i have

Answered above
Nope, pads last just as long as they would on a solid rotor. DD cross drilled/slotted rotors since 2003, just now going on my 3rd set of HPS pads.
See i hear the same thing all the time, "dont get drilled/slotted etc.....". The ones on there currently are drilled and slotted but wearing down to needing replaced. They've been on there since i've had it for 7 years! Debating....
Other than good pads/rotors/stainless lines, you have to start upgrading parts. If you can afford the coin, the fastbrakes 11" kit works great, sticks with almost all stock parts. Uses Integra calipers, along with a VW rotor. I'm running it on my 91 Si Hatch with 40/40 prop valve, 15/16" MC and 90-93 DA rear discs. I put it on in 2003 and it came with slotted/crossdrilled rotors. I just now replaced the rotors after almost 8 years. It's funny the things you hear from people that have never "run" what they're recommending against.
UPDATE: Well i found a 99 GSR front swap for cheap so picked that up along with Brembo blanks, Hawk HPS pads and Stainless brake lines. I'm pretty sure this will be just fine. Now if only i could find a good price on a 90-91 Ex master cylinder......
im sure 92 si hatch has the same size front brakes as an integra...10.2 i think...but i would have gone to hawk hp+ they dirty your wheels like crazy..the sometimes squeak when its hot outside..but i went from 120 to 30 in the rain in my integra without locking tires or activating abs...while street tuning my car...i woudnt recomend anything else...and i have white wheels which get dirty 2 days after washing them but the braking is worth it..car brakes hard...but remenber your brakes are only as good as your tires...
been reading a lot online.
check out autoanything.com... they have some decent stuff but more importantly a crapload of reviews.
my .02 based on reading, experience, friends' experience, etc.:
cross-drilled & ceramic is the combo to beat.
Brembo (rotors)- high quality, high price
Hawk (pads)- mid to high quality, mid price. Common honda upgrade!
EBC (pads) - four different grades (pads):
Green - base level, mid price/quality
Red - High quality, common use, mid to high price, high quality.
Yellow - highest quality, slightly less common use, high price, high quality.
Blue - really high endurance quality, not as high response. (built vs. fade) high price.
EBC (rotors) - high quality, common use, mid to high price.
brake best (pads) - obriens brand. low to mid price. Cermaics high quality, common use
brake best (rotors) - obries brand. low to mid price, mid quality, semi common use.
none of this looking at the EPIC $450 rotors, etc.
currently looking into either some powerstop or EBC crossdrilled rotors & some hawk or brakebest (obriens brand) ceramic pads or EBC red stuff pads for my 2006 civic ex.
all come stock sizes... hope that was remotely helpful.
