d15b vtec in civic si.. will i pass CA smog?
I have a civic si hatch and it has a d15b vtec motor with a remapped p28 ecu car is converted to obd1. Do you guys think its smogable?? I changed the oil and o2 sensor. No engine work what so ever, stock.

it might... my d16 vtec passed just fine (and i was running obd0 too, when technically i should have been running obd1)

i have no cel lights, idles perfect when warmed up stock everything. I was planning on going to those pass or dont pay places.
ya if the engine truly is stock like you say it is (stock intake too) then its basically the same as the stock engine you had in there before. Don't mention anything about a swap, just be like "i need a smog check"
theres a lot of old hondas that have had the engines replaced, that dont ever see the ref and pass smog just fine.
once you start putting in cam gears, intake, muffler and all that ricer crap, thats when the smog guys will really be careful (just to protect their own asses)
