IS THERE SUCH THING AS A CHEAP SETUP?
so this year started off really bad for me. my truck got totalled and i got layed off so i finally decided to work on my honda again so i can go out and look for another job. i recently swapped in a gsr motor in a eg civic hatch and noticed that my struts was dead. while doing the swap my HONDA blood got flowing again and it made me wanna continue the "build"
since i got layed off i was wondering if theres a good strut/shock i could use thats cheap. im not a total cheapy either so just lmk whats out there.

What's your definition of cheap? Everyones is different.
Generally, yes there is such thing as a cheap setup. It's called eBay junk. Reliable? No... It'll actually probably cost you more in the end if you buy a crap suspension setup.
I think the real question is why are you looking to blow money on a car under these rough times you're going through? Not telling you what to do with your money but I don't see the logic there..
