Ball Joint Maybe??
My 90 Si has what I like to call a "shimmy" whenever I am turning to the left and putting a load on the right front, especially under acceleration. This happened after I installed a new set of shocks without using a fork splitter on the ball joints.
I am thinking its a ball joint, which I have never replaced. Just wanted to ask before tearing this thing apart. Any way to figure out if it is the lower ball joint versus the tie rod end ball joint on the steering assembly? I have jacked it up and tried to shake the wheel/tire but it seems pretty solid. I know that is how to trouble shoot a bearing, so i think we are good there. Any help is much appreciated.

mine does the same...i narrowed it down to new front lca's since i put in new tie rods, rack and pinion, wheel bearings, front uca's,axles and ball joints and it never corrected the problem...!!!
