Nayiem and the ''rear wheel drive, CRX''
Hi people,
I'm Nayiem from the Netherlands.
I'm 18 years old and new to this forum.
I started to love cars when I was very young. when I turned 16 I bought my first car.
Usdm Honda CRX ED8 with 1.5 engine.

]

I still don't know why I bought it because i've always been a Nissan 200sx ''freak''.
So when I bought the CRX, I felt miserable after 2 days.
I like Honda's. But I don't like front wheel drive.
But then I got a idea. Built a rear wheel drive CRX.
So I bought my second car.
Nissan 200sx S13

And then I got rid of my old D15B2 engine.

And said ''Hello'' to my new engine.. CA18DET.

Well, actually. I bought 3 engines in 3 different conditions.

And swapped it into the CRX

This is me.. Measuring the dept of the engine in to the interior of the crx.

When I was almost finished with the engine(bay), I talked to a person from a dutch car station that checks cars so if they are street legal.
And then I heard some bad news that my car never would see the streets.
Because of the crumple zone. So I was depressed for a weeks and then finally decided to start all over again.
So I ripped everything of my car started to build some new frames for the wheelmount, floor and engine mount.

So thats all folks.
Hope you guys enjoy my project and my further updates/progress.
And excuse me for my terrible english. I'm dutch.
Cheers, Nayiem.

NASTY! Good luck! I'm looking forward to seeing this happen. I love the old CA powerplant. It's a rugged little bastard.
Also, your english really isn't that bad.

I did quit my project a few years ago because of circumstances.
However, it keeps following me that i havent finished my project.
Soooo... I started all over again. Should I open a new thread? or go further into this one?

Why are you stripping the S13 anyways? I'm all down for the idea, but just wondering. Those motors are pretty sweet. Definitely fun with the T25 they came with.
I have noticed that all the pictures were disappeared from tinypic. So plugged in my old harddisk and recovered some deleted files by using Recuva and uploaded the pics on Photobucket.
Unfortunately I have lost the most of the pics.
Here are some old pics from my first CRX project.

Old garage.

- Ofcourse.. Things have changed in some years. Instead of a cheap garagebox thats now used for weed nursery, these days I work in a fine garage with a second floor on place with a beautifull sight of the southern dutch mountains.
- The pictures I make with my crappy phone have a slightly better quality.
- I probably have some better experience and skills to finish my CRX project.
- Unfortunately, some people broke in to my garage and did steal some tools. So i've been going backwards with my tools, but that will change in some days. Some years ago, I had all of the tools laying on the floor. Now I have experienced the function of walls and used them to hang up tools and stuff.
Pictures from the new garage.
First floor.

Second floor.

The beautifull sight from the garage.

The cars I currently have in my garage. My S13 and a AE86 from a customer.

I know it's not smart to put some pictures on the internet of my garage especially after a burglary. But nowadays my garage is better protected against these scumbags and they can try to break in at own risk.
Soon more pics will be uploaded at the moment the CRX will come in.
@ Freemanananananana: It's my 2nd S13. I will still keep one S13 for the fun stuff
