TN 1991 Honda Civic w/ jdm b16a / jdm front end conversion
I am asking 3400 obo. Maybe interested in trades
I am sure there are more mods that I am forgetting but this is main gist.
JDM front end conversion was 1200 from hmotors +shipping
JDM b16a was 1800+shipping
Vis CF hood was 600+shipping
Koni yellows +spings was 800
Thats already over 4200 in mods. I did not want to sell it as I helped do almost all the labor on the car over the past 7 years. I just ran into financial issues and is for sale unless those are fixed, which then it will be taken off the market.

Car is currently on steelies with 4 so so tires. Car runs good, has new battery and new drivers side axle. Car has no real rust, no cancer, and paint is there but clear is gone. The CF hood needs to be wetsanded and cleared. There is a local guy that priced me to do this for 125 at his shop and it will look like new again. The b16 probably has roughly 60k on it total now. H motors told us it had 35k on it when it was bought. The transmission is need of new synchros. 2nd and 4th are both rough to get into gear and do pop out.
Here is a video of it on the dyno in 3rd
Here is 4th gear dyno
It made 158whp on dynocom and a dynojet. The car has been very reliable.
Here is the build thread on the car and history.

This will be a long read, but i've had the car for a while and have done quite a lot to it over the years.
I first got this car in February of '03 with 149,917 miles on it from all-american motors in Kingsport, TN. It was completely stock (1.5 4spd std. model) had no problems except for a leaky radiator, I told the salesman about it and he had it replaced immediately.

Here is the first picture I have of the engine, I wasn't really into what was under the hood the first few years I owned it, so this picture is probably after at least two years of owning it - as you can see, clean as can be...oh how that will change.

I added my Enkei Rs5 wheels on that I had bought for my previous car, a 1988 Honda Prelude 2.0s:

I then added a fartcan muffler, lowered it with Weapon-R coilovers which I was told by some less-than-knowledgable friends at the time that they would be one of the best things I could do to my car. I only ended up with busted struts and a shitty *** ride. I was also in a car club for a short amount of time and added this awful gawdy sticker which wasn't on there for long, I hated how big it was and it wasn't put on evenly.
The car remained the same for probably close to a year from there on, blown struts, shitty *** ride, no power, but still a clean, nice-looking car that I was happy with.
During that year, I found out about the whole "jdm" scene, and I basically took a lot of crappy pictures, "raced" with a 60hp motor, and eventually found out about the now ever-so-popular 421, (421 is a road that goes from Bristol, TN well over into NC...the real curvy section is between Bristol and Mountain City, TN. So then I started going to 421 to take pictures and raise as much hell as possible with 60hp, lol.
Just a few pics of the car lowered with the rotas:

In that whole amount of time, the factory 1.5l motor finally gave out, I think it was around 200k, and it was replaced with a jdm d15b non-vtec by a factory-trained honda technician who runs his own very reputable garage....got way overcharged, but it was done right and never had a single problem, so I guess you get what you pay for!
Then all hell broke loose, I met my now best friend, Brandon...he showed me the way to the darkside of modding cars...modding the stuff that really matters. So I knew what my car needed to make it safe and driveable again, but I didn't really have any fundage to change it any. I was the passenger in a pretty bad car accident, and ended up getting a little bit of money back, so then I had the funds I needed to do a little to the Honda.
First things first was ordering my new motor, a 1st gen b16a, along with a SiR front end conversion and rear DA Disc brake swap:

The B16a was a full swapover bought from , got the YS1 tranny with optional LSD.

Drove the car for a little while with just the swap done, no rear disc or front-end swap...had a few different things like takata harnesses, etc.

The front end conversion came with: front bumper, headlights, corner lights, bumper lights, both fenders, and hood. All courtesy of as well.

Here's a few pictures from the swap-process.

I also had a few parts waiting to be installed: AEM cold air intake, Integra Type R header, apexi worldsport 2 exhaust, Earl's Stainless Steel brakelines, Falken Azenis RT-615's (been through 2 sets of these tires, love 'em.)

Installing the exhaust, suspension & rear discs

I love this exhaust

And heres pictures from the front end swap process:

All torn apart

Starting to come back together

Finished

also put a CRX Si steering wheel on because the factory one was falling apart in my hands....The suspension was updated with Koni Yellow struts & H&R Race Springs

The sidemoldings are sprayed white on one door that was replaced. When I washed the car the otherday the white actually sprayed off and it is normal black mouldings underneath.
