EF Starter Problem.
Hey everyone,
The hatch is acting pretty odd lately.
Recently I've had a weird starter problem.
I'll go to start the car. Turns over, It'll start for half a second and then cut out. Like seriously, the rpm will shoot up to a 1000 but just die.
After a few tries, i'll get her going but it's getting really annoying and frankly kind of embarrassing if i'm leaving the store or something.
Any ideas of what it is or where to start looking?
Thanks,
Jordan

^^^^^ this guy obviously knows nothing! and u should not look into your distributor. if you dont know dont post wrong info!.... anyways to the op: when you start it up, it starts for a second then dies right? you try for a minute, it takes a while then starts up? if you let it sit for like ten mins it starts right up? you sir have a common problem, i would suggest your main fuel relay. there should be a write up, since that other guy is a douche i will find the post for you and link it. but i see your new so you should learn how to use the search function

found on google. next time your car doesnt start take your left foot and kick the side kick panel to the left of your foot, give it a couple kicks and your car should start right up. i would get a new relay if you are not good with soldering
