Default Any difference between 90 EX PM6 and 90 SI PM6?

I'm running a 1990 Civic EX PM6 ECU in my '90 Civic SI, and I think it is causing a problem with the ELD circuit. To be more specific, I think it's causing the ELD to not send a signal when load is detected, making the alternator not kick out more power when it is needed.

For more details, here's my thread on it...

https://honda-tech.com/forums/honda-crx-ef-civic-1988-1991-3/still-having-some-electrical-problems-90-civic-si-2881394/

So...are there any differences between the EX PM6 and the SI PM6? If so, what are they?

They should be the same ECU, the only difference being if by chance one is a Cali emissions ECU while the other could be federal emissions...
