well im doing this swap with some problems
the dizzy is internal coil and the f22b2 is external so the f22b2 has 3 plugs for the dizzy while the f22b has 2 plugs. what can i do about this. the motors are both from 95 and the motor is a sohc


another question is theres a 3 prong sensor on top on of the intake i have no idea what it is but im using the original f22b2 harness and it uses a a 3 prong plug but it shaped a bit different

the old dizzy is bad so i cant use that can i convert the new dizzy to work with the old harness

we honda people actually work on our cars

 

I actually have distributor from my old accord f22b2 if you need it let me know.

 

is the f22b motor obd 1 or 2 and is your car obd 1 or 2

when i did this swap in my 92 accord is was strait forward, i didn't have any connectors going to the dizzy, just the spark plug wires,

and i connected a fuse in the old dizzy connector to make it work, or you can cut the connector off and cross the yellow and blk/yellow wire but this is for obd 1

and i used the intake off of my f22a1 motor so i didnt have any issues

 

How Much do you want for it, I have a 99 Nissan Altima in good condition, Automatic power everything; wanna trade?

 

got it fixed just used the old dizzy and changed the egr thingy from the old motor

 

I know this thread is old but it is the only thing close tht I have found in search and I have been searching for weeks now, anyway I have a 95 dx non vtec(f22b2) soon to be f22b vtec want to know if I can use the f22b harness instead of the f22b2. The old dizzy is pretty wrecked so I can't use it just trying to save money lol also any info or a swap link possibly would really help
