99 civic si, ride is getting a little bouncy, suspension opinions?
I have a 99 civic si and I've been lowered on skunk2 pro s coilovers for like 3 years now and I feel like they don't feel the same anymore and that the ride is getting a little rough/bouncy. Is it time for a new replacement? Any other things I should switch after daily driving very low for 3 years?
Also a recomendation of what coilovers to switch to? I been checking out tein, function form, d2. I just don't know which one to go for, where to buy them at? I'm not trying to spend a lot on them...just a nice upgrade/replacement.
And I'm looking for opinions...don't tell me to search thanks!!

Are you riding on stock BS struts/shocks? That's you're problem right there. Nothing wrong with the coilovers.
I did read the post. I was asking about the shocks and struts. Not the coilovers. I think I said as much.
They are shocks, not struts.
You said are you riding on stock BS shocks. It is impossible for him for to be on stock shocks, the Pro-s is a 1 peice design coilover.

My Koni Sports are holding up great after 200K miles. You can't go wrong with those, seriously, especially if you plan to stay in it for the long haul with your car.

I would go with THMotorsports. They are a H-T sponsor and I've always heard good things about them.
Koni/ground control. And as you can see everyone has their own favorite sponsor. Take your pic. But they feel like you're in a cadillac... Don't even feel bumps. And you can get custom spring rates. Most sponsor will help you out with that.

But they are adjustable coilovers with linear-rate springs, and higher pressure shocks. They WILL ride more harsh than stock. Even the "Special Edition" kit uses springs at least 2-3 times firmer than stock.
I mean hell, even my OEM springs on Koni shocks ride a good bit firmer than stock, due to me having stock ITR rear springs, which are stiffer than the OEM GSR rear springs.

All Ground Control slip-on coilover kits come with ERS linear springs, in whatever spring rate and length you choose.
I'm deff going to go with the koni/gc. What kind of spring rates would you reccomend for me. And also should I get the top hats? All four or just front two?
How low would like to be?
How important is ride comfort, compared to handleing?
You could do the OTS setup which I belive is 380lb front and 250lb in rear.
Personaly I would go somewhere in the 400/350 range.

I been driving like that for 3 years. I'd like the ride to be comfortable and still decent handling, I can sacrafice ride comfort though for better handling. After 3 years of driving around on the same coilovers, I feel like they arnt performing like day one.

Yeah I would probably get top hats for the front. Any dents or other imperfections noticeable on the shock towers?
