Icon2 EK coupe swap help!!!

Alright, well i currently have a d16y8 in my 00' ex coupe. I plan on doing a swap here soon.i have been thinking and have 2 options that i want to do but want advice before i start.
1st: a GSR swap.
2nd: a b20swap with b16 v tech head and tranny.

If you could please give me advice on what, and where to find cheap prices that would be great!
Thanks, Justin

Do you have any reasoning behind your brief answer or just own a Gs-R and think its the best thing ever? Its all preference.

To the OP: If you don't know much about engine building or working on cars I suggest you buy a full swap that is ready to drop in. Most B20VTEC motors that have been put together are usually hacked or done wrong. When done right B20VTEC's are extremely fun and torquey motors that make great power.

I know jack about either. Hence the response. It IS all subjective and the question should not even have been posted since the OP himself didn't say why he was leaning toward one or the other of these engines. That plus the 20 swap questions people pose every week should have enough information in them to help the OP make his own choice rather than trying to get someone to lead him in one direction or the other.

LOL and I thought I was the only one.

Kid, do yourself a favor. Just read through the forums. I am new to it also, and there is no way you will learn anything by simply creating this generic thread. You need to research pros, cons, price, what's required..... You need to know all of this if you are going to do this to your car. Otherwise you will look ignorant when something goes wrong. Not trying to be rude.... just saying.

No one is going to do this for you. If you do not want to put the time in to research the engines, then do the GSR because you will epically fail with the B20. GSR will go in with little work.

Rule of thumb... Do not post false information because you will get flammed. I am not saying anybody did, but I have a feeling somebody is going to in this thread lol.
