I have 91 ED7 seats and I want to swap the pans, but I came across a problem. There appears to be a screw that requires an allen wrench to remove [?] It is found in between the bottom portion of the seat and the top portion. the description may be a little vague, so i'll have pics tomorrow. but does anyone know what im talking about?

 

Yea I know what your talking about. Just did a pan swap on my 89 si. Converted to 90-91 si seats. Kind of loss as to what your asking though. Taking it off was a pain for me cause the alan keys I used weren't to helpful. So I went and bought the sockets with the Alan style keys.

 

im asking if it should be that difficult! its a fairly large allen key screw that seems to just be complettely stuck.

 

Mine were a bit of a pain to take off as well. As i stated above I tried using regular Alan keys but they didn't work for me. So I bought the socket styled ones and they worked.

yes, it has an allen head on it, but you are able to attach it to your ratchet.
