OK so we usually get schedules @ PRI and rules are released around the same time.

I hope we dont get rules a week before the events!

I looked on the PBIR schedule and they have a date on there in June or July and another in October. Both one day events, didn't catch anything else posted on the calender and a lot of the weekends at pbir for 2011 are already full.

 

Wow. I guess the question is what sanctioning bodies are left to have rules and schedules for?

Can't wait to spend 10-15k on my car for 3 races.

Well there are 3 IFO races I think I can make

 

The powers to be told me that there were going to be 5 NSCRA races at PBIR.

Lets hope thats the truth.

 

 

Here is my view on NSCRA. I like the series and the classes, but having 5 races at the same track is slowly hurting the series. Change of venue will get new fans and racers out to the track.

Imagine if there were 5 races at 4 different tracks in FL with finals still at PBIR. I know I would be more excited, but this is my opinion.


About the rules build your car to last years rules for the class you were racing in and you should be fine.

I think NSCRA should try to avoid the summer months for any of there events down here at PBIR. I rather have them run a series from October to March. It's the best time to run down here. It's the dry season and everybody up North is stuck in snow so I'm sure it can attract them as well.

 

im willing to bet its a lot more expensive to rent the track out at that point in the year? it seems BOTI, NSCRA, and all of the other "import" series that have ever come to MIR pick the absolute HOTTEST days of the year -- there has to be a reason, only thing i can think is track rental must be substantially cheaper? there is no other logical reason to pick the worst possible times of year for the events....unless maybe the "good" months are always booked way in advance and are not available? the heat 5450% directly effects the turn outs.....

i feel like the rules should be pretty set in stone at this point, i dont see any changes needed (atleast in any of the turbo class's)
