remanufactured axle wont suck up to hub/knuckle
so my axles are old and i needed to replace them.ordered both sides and did the driver side with no problems.then i move over to the passenger side and the axle just wont suck up completely to the hub/knuckle.i asked a friend who helps me alot with my little rex and he said(from experience)that sometimes on re-manufactured axles yuo need to sand the spline just a hair to help it slip into the hub.i trust him but i figured i would throw this problem/question out there for you all.the more minds the better i think. any input would be much appreciated and i will update if i can get it.i am new so im sure someone will say there is an old thread with this info but i couldnt find one.
UPDATE
so i was looking at axle length's and it looks like autozone's axles length is 23 11/16"(which was too short compared to my factory axle) and the oreilly axle is 23 15/16".havent had a chance to compare this one with my factory axle yet(since its my DD and i drive for work EVERY night) but i have a feeling this one should be right.tried to find and info on axle length's for just stock 2nd gen but all i find is info on swaps.im guessing there is this slight difference in length between one year and another and some re-manufacturers just decide to make one of the sizes.i dont know just a thought.will update as soon i get a chance to tinker some more.

UPDATE
so autozone does not stock/sell crx dx axles.they have hf and si axles.had to go to kragen to get the rights ones and so far so good(knock on wood).i still have this pop noise so im thinking its LCA bushings or just shocks.we will see as soon as i can get some more $$$ together.
