whats this tube for? and what does it do?

Transmission breather tube; allows air in/out of the tranny case. There should be a rubber plug that goes over the top that allows a small amount of air in at 90˚ and stops larger debris from falling in.

Yup. You can find them at Junkyards too. I ran my F22B1 trans with it open for like 3-5 years. Lol.

lol yea but cap i only a few bucks rather not take chance ive spent to much into this swap for a lil cap
