id buy if i had cash, but unfortunately i only got my car to trade.
bmw is nice untill it breaks, then it becomes very expensive.

hondas are not that expensive to maintain, and reliable, thats why the price stays higher than other brands.

Their parts are not that expensive, unless you are dirt poor. I have had mine for years and parts at NAPA are at a reasonable price and their parts are actually made by the same manufacturer that makes the BMW dealer parts, except without the special BMW stamp which boosts the price. Mine right now is on almost 150k(2002 325i) and still doesnt leak a drop of oil, my garage floor is spotless.

Only downside to BMW is that aftermarket parts are very expensive, but it makes a great DD.

Grew up in Germany we swear by these, despite the hype they are very solid cars, I have a 5 and 7 series also and as long as you keep up with cheap maintenance they will go 300k and maintain high value

that statement is very arguable.
from my experience they are built to be a money pit after certain time aka dealership cash cows.
just a few issues would be( peeling interior paint/vinyl fabrics, speakers falling apar after a year, door handles getting stuck, lock motors stop working and its been a common problem for years and hasnt been fixed) its expected that you jsut pay 300 bucks to replace it every few years... i can go on but this is your for sale thread so ill excuse myself

i swear by japanese cars, and you are in a japanese car forum *cough*
does it make japanese cars more reliable?

You are correct, the comment is very arguable if you have a basis. Your statement that Japanese are reliable isn't a basis. You stated that we are on a japanese website, true, so somebody on a Japanese website would definitely argue that Japanese cars are more reliable because they have a better knowledge of these specific kinds of cars. I own 5 hondas and 2 nissans. The hondas are reliable except when one of two things happens, timing belt or dizzy. Which me being who I am is very cheap fix normal people it's a 5 or 4 hundred dollar fix. As for nissans they are not reliable at all, I love them, I have an sr20det sentra it's stock and I have a huge vouched takedown list but it will turn off without warning, no check engine lights like a Honda, niss-on niss-off and that is really how it is. So no Japanese cars as a whole are not reliable. Back to the issue at hand I know euro cars as well as I know Japanese cars and if you don't know euro cars than you are just like those people that are paying 4 hundred dollars for a Honda dizzy when you don know them. I hope you understand what I'm saying, however if you don't I give 30 minute consultations for free than I charge 90 per hour if you need further explanation. I am truly sorry that I can't trade my BMW for your integra which I buy for 600 when I was into that but I just want it out of my yard so It doesn't taint the class of my 5 and 7 series, which I would sell for the right price too. Good luck with your sale sir.

no worries man, just keeping it bumped up lol. im almost shocked to have that responce without you calling me names and bringing up irrelevant personal information that you could dig up on google or HT search. strange feeling it is.
maybe i should switch to german car scene.

even a del sol forum members are somewhat more respectfull to eachother.

well the sad thing is im probably gonna have to remove all the aftermarket parts from it and put all stock sht back on it, and play the " its all stock" game.
i will pretend that its all stock and unmodified, and the buyer will pretend that he believes me. gets the car and puts same exact **** on it except theres more chances that it wouldnt be done right. and the cycle of honda life continues.
