so every time i shut my car off, my radio stays on. i have to press the off button, i cant just like turn my key off and get out. i have an 02 type-s with the stock bose system.


is there a setting or switch i have on a wrong setting or is something broke/missing. i just traded my dc4 for it yesterday.

Not sure if the radio has a relay off the top of my head but if it does it could be a bad relay. I personally haven't come across this problem yet so best bet is start testing the electrical. Down load the helms PDF and find the power source and test it

 

im just going to buy an aftermarket one i suppose.

 

first time ive ever heard of something like this. ide assume a bad relay.. or someone ****ed with the stock system to put a new unit in.. removed unit to sell the car.. and left it messed up

 

its should turn off once you open your door....
