Default Will the ex tranny in my hatch harm the D16 non-vtec engine?

As my last post says I am new to ek's. It's a cx. It has a ex tranny thou and from what I know it's shorter then stock ex tranny. Will this cause harm to engine since it will be at a higher rpm on the highway? Since it's a cx it has no tach so I have no clue what rpm I am sitting at. Any ideas or help?

No it will be fine. Your gas mileage may suffer a bit but that'll be the only "negative" effect.

So it won't harm the engine being at a higher rpm? I know my 07 Si sits high but it revs to 8k
