Default OBD2 Harness to D15B (obd1) vtec JDM?

So I just swapped out my 99 civic ex D16Y8 vtec m/t, for a D15B vtec JDM m/t and found that I need a P08 (obd1) ecu with the obd1>obd2 conversion to fit my obd2 harness. And I've been told there won't be any issues using the obd2 harness on the D15B vtec m/t, which is obd1

...except that I should use the D16Y8 dizzy & injectors.

Does that make sense?
Would it make more sense to swap out harness for obd1 or is that not worth the effort?

Thoughts anyone, please???

Which D15B is it? The single or dual VTEC solenoid model?
