There is info in the faq stickied at the top of the Ef sub forum. It involves wiring you need to do as well. If you don't feel confident feel free to contact me I do dori to mpfi harnesses.

yes...theres alot of info out there but some of it is unclear but thats one key thing that never changes. Always need a jumper harness if using a different obd ecu than the obd0 one in our hatch.

Hear is a goood rite up. info is correct it will work this is how I do my dpfi to mpfi swaps. Works evertime hope this helps. And no you don't need the jumper harness if you stay obd0 only if you want to go obd1.

I'm just saying this from experience but, If I were you, I'd keep up the maintence as it stands and maybe do a few cosmetic mods while you do your research. Judging from what you've said, I don't think you should be jumping into full out 700HP SOHC builds. Do your research, make a plan, budget, etc. then DO WORK SON. But that's just my opinion. -Later, BR

P.S. Reason I say this, you'll be wasting your time and money from some things written online that are B/S and sometimes the B/S people tell you. I'd hate to see a new kid get ****ed over because he didn't know.

I agree there are some people that give out bs answers on this site. and ya op Don't jump into building a 700hp motor right off the bat. Put your motor in and get it running and go from there. Also wat every one has said so far is correct. But do your research to make sure you feel comfortable doing the wiring your self

You will want to use your engine harness and adapt it to MPFI,if you use the harness of the engine you got it won't match your chassis harness.
