dpfi junk need help
how do i swap my dpfi to fuel injected what all do i need im new to the honda game so far its ben a pin in my *** but i love every minute of it so will some body please tell me how to swap this **** out asap!!!
There is info in the faq stickied at the top of the Ef sub forum. It involves wiring you need to do as well. If you don't feel confident feel free to contact me I do dori to mpfi harnesses.
yes...theres alot of info out there but some of it is unclear but thats one key thing that never changes. Always need a jumper harness if using a different obd ecu than the obd0 one in our hatch.
so what everybody is sayin the mpfi swap is easy i hope ima give it a shot and hope for the best i got a godspeed turbo kit for it already im just waitin to do this lil swap! ef is my favorite hatch i bought one last year with a gsr swap already and it was boosted it was fast as **** lol but something went wrong with it i asked a few people around town there like i dont kno right off hand gave me a run around and so i put it up for sale and some dude called me was like can i come look at it i was like ya he told me that it was pretty much blowed up well i sold it to him for 1000 he turned around put new injectors in it and it ran fine i was like wtf i was pissed but i got this one i saw d series at our local track pushin 700 horse i wanna shoot for the same

I'm just saying this from experience but, If I were you, I'd keep up the maintence as it stands and maybe do a few cosmetic mods while you do your research. Judging from what you've said, I don't think you should be jumping into full out 700HP SOHC builds. Do your research, make a plan, budget, etc. then DO WORK SON. But that's just my opinion. -Later, BR
P.S. Reason I say this, you'll be wasting your time and money from some things written online that are B/S and sometimes the B/S people tell you. I'd hate to see a new kid get ****ed over because he didn't know.

I agree there are some people that give out bs answers on this site. and ya op Don't jump into building a 700hp motor right off the bat. Put your motor in and get it running and go from there. Also wat every one has said so far is correct. But do your research to make sure you feel comfortable doing the wiring your self
so last night i stayed up and worked on the hatch and did a lil searching on the link thats above and it all came together i got the wire harness in it was pretty much plug and play thank god you guys have all ben a big help i got on this sight thinkin everyone was going to be a dick and laugh at me for wanting to just keep a d and build it slowly but you guys thought it would be cool to i soon hope to do a gsr swap after i do this and get more comftorble doing swaps and understanding everything about a honda but if i run into probloms i kno were to come ill keep you guys updated
