How to remove the fuel injector plastic connector?
I am having difficulty trying to remove the fuel injector plastic electrical connector on a 94 vetc 4 cylinder engine. How does one do that? I know it has something to do with something called a bail wire clip, that squarish U shape wire that goes around the outside of it. Does it have to come off completely ? If yes, how is it done without losing the clip, flying away from the spring tension? Can I just loosen this wire clip somehow rather than remove it completely to get the connector off and then snap the clip back in place and then reinstall the connector when I'm ready to? Confused
The wire clip comes off all u gotta do is pry it back. It does not come completely off, just off the injector connector. Then you just take the plastic connector from the injector.
They appear to be about to break but they don't. They're pretty flexible.

Make sure you are extreme cautious while playing with the filter inside the valve, even minute dirt there impacts the performance.. and put oild on the O rings whie putting in back, I ruined 2 of those last time I opened it.
What are you talking about? The OP's talking about unhooking injector connectors and it's got nothing to do with any sorts of valve you're talking about.
