bike rack for Integra
Can anyone recommend a decent rear/trunk mounted bike rack for the Integra? How much would I be looking to spend? I get tired of having to take at least one wheel off just to be able to put into the hatch every weekend. It's not exactly light either! TIA
Check out http://www.sportsrack.com for a wide range of options. I used to use (and still have if you want to buy it) a hitch style rack made by Hollywood racks. The downfall of this type of rack is that not only do you need to a rack, but a hitch on your car. There are several out there that use the smaller 1 1/4" hitch mount so it doesn't look like you're towing a boat. On my old Prelude the hitch wasn't very visible. The benefit of this type of rack is that you can easily take it on and off so it's only on your car when you go ride and you can still use your sunroof! Or do what I do and just stick your bike in the trunk, with the back seat down, any bike fits once you take off the front wheel.
I wouldn't recommend any of the hatch mount racks as they tend to scratch up your paint and they are not very stable.
If you decide to go with a roof rack you can opt to get just the basic rack (say Yakima or Thule, both good) and purchase RockyMounts (www.rockymounts.com) that are cheaper than the ones that Thule or Yakima sell.

I sell bike racks for a living. With an integra you DON'T want a hatch/bumper mounted rack. The rear bumper can't support the weight of the bikes.
A decent hitch+hitch rack combo will roughly equal the cost of a decent roof rack ($300+).

I second that... Tomakit knows what he is talking about. If you insist on carrying on the back get yourself a hitch and hitch type rack. But the best way to fly is a roof system, Thule or Yakima are the best IMO. Versitile and relatively easy to sell, other are brands not so easy. Go with the fork mount trays if you do go roof system. Do a search on Yakima.com or Thule.com to see what's involved.

Get a Yakima rack...one of the best out there, and the attach fairly quickly, and have yet to see them leave a mark on a car. They also have locks so that the racks aren't stolen.

Thanks for showing off my ride.
To the person who started this tread:
Yes, I have a roof rack on my integra. Yes, I autoX with the rack on the car. No, it never comes off (too big of a pain in the ***). yes, I love the rack and use it all the time.
If you need any more pictures of an Integra with a roof rack, let me know

I've wanted a roof rack, but the price pushes me away every time. The part that actually hold the bike is not expensive, like $98 bucks...But the entire system is another $300-400 bucks. The rear mount Yakima system is like $80 bucks...But rack boy who posted above here says it won't work right.
