D16 Crank Bolt? Help ASAP Pls
I recently lost a crank pulley , when driving, the bolt backed out from the recent water pump and timing belt replacement.
I bought an after market under drive pulley, the after market pulley will not fit the new bolt and washer that Honda makes. It will fit the bolt without the washer.
My question is how can i remove the washer with out damaging the threads.
Is there another Honda motor that will have a crank bolt with out a washer that will fit a d16 crank?
And Do i need the washer?
Its turning into a nightmare.
Do i need the crank pulley to drive the car, if it is off will the belt slip or come off? All i run on it is the altenator .
Thanks all

yes you need the crank pulley it drives the alternator. it also holds on the guide washer for the timing belt. why not just get another stock pulley and call it a day?

When the stock pulley came off did it damage the small slot for the key? I've seen a couple of motors come in with this problem.
