Reinforcement.
I would like to know if the EJ6 chassis has the same reinforcement has the EM1 chassis or is the EM1 chassis not reinforced ? I know that the DC2 Integra Type R was reinforced to give you an idea of what I am talking about. The same question goes for the Honda Civic hatchback of the same year versus the EK9 chassis.
No they do not.
The EM1 isnt really reindorced, it does have a backing plate inside the subframe, which a regular civic does not. I guess it can act as some sort of a reinforcement, but isnt anything compared to a CTR subframe. They are factory reinforced, just like the ITR.
Are you trying to run a rear sway bar? If so what size?
I am runing the stock 99-00 SI sway on my car, without any reinforcements, nor issues.
