I don't know much about the Sols but my guess would be you need them strictly from another Sol seeing as the design of the doors is so different.

Are you talking about swapping the rear handles off a sedan to get rid of the key holes? all you have to use is the del sol rod to make it work. a buddy of mine did this a few years ago when he got keyless entry. but it didn't help him much when his battery died lol.

thats what im assuming as well.. the rods a little too long so they dont bolt up.. i checked the 4dr eg's and the ej's and theyre waaay too different, now i just need to check an eg hatch and other del sols..

Thats weird! he had the Del Sol SI I remember him having to bend it a little bit?

I also did this on my hatch. but I just use the stock rod for the hatch maybe you could try one out of a coupe or hatch? but I would just work with the rod you have and bend it a little bit.

isn't one of the bolt holes in a different spot on the handle? on my civic it was. ended up using my own handle. filled the hole at the body shop before painting.

im no thief but i've had to break into my del sol before. i didn't even touch the door handle. worry more about the fact that your window has no top seal and its super easy to get it unlocked. just saying security wise won't help.

i did it with a 1/8th inch rod. i locked my keys in it, go me.

but it will look nicer. good luck.

I totaly agree with you. Theifs are not gonna use your door lock to get it its gonna be through your window.

Forgot my rear windshield was down once and when I came out of the store the change and couple dollar bills in the ashtray were gone but the ipod in the (unlocked) rear compartment was there.
