Default ***VALVETRAIN QUESTION***

js wondering; are any of u running your valves with exhaust at standard and intake at .5mm? any real performance increase?? js wondering since my DPR Stage 5 head didnt get the job done cuz they messed up the springs and valves. ugh! so, redoing the headwork and before i ordered js wanted to see what u guys were running also

alot of people are using +1mm intake valves on 900whp + builds...the mfactory car made 1100 on stock size valves... im shooting for 1000whp and im keeping oem size valves...and i havent heard on b series any body running + size exhaust valves...

we run .5mm oversized valves on both sides, tom at portflow did all the head work. i would talk to whomever you will be sending the head to.

X2.tom at portflow also does my work and i run .5 over on both sides.he told me i could run up to a 1mm+ on exhaust and .5 on intake with the stock seats.

.5mm both sides? i've normally always heard to leave Exh at standard? hrmm, ill look into it. ya Tom is def a cool guy. Chad at RLZ also. im js picking their minds and going from there.

kool def. now, i js need to find someone to buy my DPR stuff. everything only has 748 miles on them. js pulled the head off the block cuz we werent making the power we thought it should be at. did some tests and noticed the bad coil binding. so im gunna sell the DPR Springs, Retainers and .5mm in .5mm exh valves both Calico coated all 2gether. make offers... ??
