mystery problems with my hatch
okay i got a a 91 civic hatch and i put a new tps and o2 sensors on it (it has a b16a swap) and i started it up and it ran for 20 mins and then it cut off so i check the main fuel relay and everything so it was the fuel pump so i pulled the pump and ran it straight to the battery and it cut on. so i straight wired it to the main fuel relay and when i cut the key over to igniton it cuts on and stays on like its working
does anyone know what this could be?
the car ran then cut off an idk what it could be if it aint the fuel pump
thanks

I had a fuel problem, about a week ago. So i droped the tank and changed the fule pump, after checking the mani fuel relay! So after that it keep acting starved for fuel.....Then started spiting an sputering! Then just **** out on me, so it finally started codeing 1,2,7 on my pwo. Therefore i changed the O2's an the TPS. When i started it back up after replacing these parts an cleared the ecu it ran in my driveway for like 20 30 min straight (then i cut it off an on a few times) then let it run like, an it just cut off. I had no fuel at the fiter an the main fuel raleay is still good......? anyone have the fuel pump to in car harness diagram?
Are you sure the main fuel relay. Aka main relay is good. It could be bad. Try putting a diffrent one in the solder joints in them come loose or crack causing a poor conection from the heat cycle they go threw over the years somitems they will work sometimes they will not... try a known good main relay and post back with the results or open yours up and check the solder joints
yeah i already did that, and use the one outta my boys da that runs fine an didnt change. You cant hear the buzz of the fuel pump cutting on.......An i took the fuel pump an hooked it to jumper cables an it works fine. so.....idk
