Default crx cel for a few min?

First off, i have a 91 crx si with a dohc zc,this happened to me about last week as well, then went away until today when i got out of work....> i started my car cel comes up, so i start to drive, once i hit 3,000 rpm's it sounds like its hitting rev limit so i shift through all my gears to get to the right speed so i dont get pulled over for going too slow at 3,000 rpm's so i can get home. about 8 min of driving the cel goes away and im able to drive normal again. this is the second time this has happened to me in two weeks, i had the car for about 3 yrs now an drove it with no problems.....> mind you my pm7 ecu is chipped so rev limit is gone... anyone?

Don't kno... Cheack all your grounds and power conections. Check fuses and make sure the battery terminlas are tight and corossion free. If the code does not come back problem solved. But if everything I mentioned checks out ok. And you still get the code try replacing ecu...
