What is a good tranny to get? ? ?
I have a 92 eg hatch, with d16y8 v-tech, 5 speed. I need a new tranny and asking around to see what a good one to get would be for the d16y8...

I think for USDM the Y8 was the best factory trans for the D-series. there was maybe something like a D15B with LSD from Japan. but i understand those are pretty rare.
though these transmissions are pretty easy to work on. you could swap a few things around, add helical LSD, shorter final drive... and build yourself a very nice gearbox. but if that doesn't sound fun to you, get another Y8.
