I was curious on the theft rate for s2000's? Any one know any fancy stats or just personal experience?

I'd be more worried about someone trying to steal my seats.

^They were probably tipped off by an employee or customer that stopped in recently. The "inside job" is a very real thing

LOl cali boi says not really then agreed???

They brake into the car for the parts. I sean and know some S2000 owners who have had the flowing stolen from the S2000 but not the S2000. Wheels, AEM EMS, Kpro, seats, hardtop, turbo, intercooler, intercooler piping and cluster.

I think the car is stripped of the parts not so much stolen. Im sure they are though.

Who does the maintenence? I mean like, I don't have the tools for all that stuff so I'll have to go somewhere for a tune up, but I will wait from opening to closing if it takes that long. And if they're not going to finish, I will sleep in the goddamn car that night.

i know that will BOLT IN, but i thought the s2000 engines ran clockwise, and other hondas go counterclockwise, which is why you dont see h22's in s2000's???????

Inline pro make a kit for the F2k swap. I dont think we see H22s in S2000 is BC that would be a horrible downgrade.

1. weaker motor
2. less power
3. older motor
4. timing belt
5. probably has more miles
6. i dont feel like listing anything else.

i highly suggest you buy some tools, a jack, maybe some jack stands and learn how to maintenance your own car...i just think its something owners should know how to do...i mean, it is pretty straight forward...just my $.02

x2

I even get nervous when people approach me and ask what all is done to the car...I guess I just know how fast I can take it apart, and there are people out there that have more practice than I do. I just don't want to come out to the car, especially when I'm out of state, to find it stripped.

strong supporter of doing as much work to ur car as possible by urself or with a friend. if u cant do a simple oil change or replace old worn parts you shouldnt be modding ur car or trying to. get a rav-4 and call it a day
