Uhh Ohh. Never get Maaco.
Use a quality independent shop. Go by local suggestions and reputation. Call your insurance company and see who they would use.

In my experience you really get what you pay for with body work. Cheap paint jobs are just that, cheap. Ive seen Maaco jobs before. Save some extra cash and go to a reputable shop.
Knew a giuy who had his Accord painted at Maaco. It looked good whenit was done. Though mostly because he provided the paint and they had to paint it FOUR TIMES to get it right.
Anyone that can paint a car in less than 2 days just ain't doing it right.

How would that be saving cash?

I meant to say save up some more cash to pay for a higher quality paint job. I did not mean that getting it done at a more expensive shop would save him money. lol. Sorry. Its been a long day.
bottom line is they dont strip the old paint ... no prep.. just shoddy all around.
This winter my Mustang is being changed from green -> tangerine .. Im doing most of the labor like removing windows etc and delivering basically a rolling chassis. Anyway all that mess is still going to cost me about 2700.00+tax. Thats blasting, taking out some door dings, prep, paint.
I'm using BASF paint, and having 8 coats of clear sprayed.
I guess my only point in this post is.. you will devalue your car more with a Maaco job than you would if you let the clear peel.
if you have any love for your vehicle you will not let them or any other chain like them touch your car.

I had a single stage paint before from an independent body shop and it looked good....it cost 650 and imo, a much much better job than any production paint shops could do. Think about it this way...production shops like maaco, earl scheib are fast food whereas independent ones are food cooked by real chefs. The prep job they did for my car was great, flex primer and everything. anyhow i have a 2 stage job now and than cost 1500, just something to think about.
hey man, i was wondering the same thing, i need to paint them because it would look pretty tight until i get my actual side skirts put on....i was just wondering if anyone had replied as of yet to the best way to do that.........hit me back
