98 civic LX wont start
before you all start doging my post telling me to RESEARCH its been posted before do your research and see that the previous post have no resolved answers.
ok to let you all know I know my **** when it comes to hondas im not a *** or a newbie but this one has got me STUMPED! its my wifes car its a 98 civic lx d16y7 automatic. we bought the car 10 months ago and its been a real good car she loves it. right after i bought it i replaced everything just so I know it was good, cap, rotor, plugs, wires, 02 sensors, breaks, rotors, timing belt, oil change and so on a complete tune up this way I know my wife had a good car for my kids and her self. the car had 147XXX on it when we bought it, it now has 155857 we have put less then 9K miles on the car and have done the routine oil change's and changed the plugs 3 times because i take care of my cars.
in the past 2 months every once in a while it was hard to start like you could crank on it for about 10-15 cranks and it would not start, let off the key and try to start it right back up and it would start and run fine. this problem got worse and worse but never to the point where it was a big enough problem to do something about it.
in the past 2 weeks shes noticed that it was jerking when sitting still as if it was miss firing i noticed it my self a few times but it was not bad.
Today when she picked me up from work she said it was jerking really bad i felt it a few times while sitting there idling but told her dont worry about it ill figure it out.
a few min later i was going to go get some gas and head up the street to my work "ADVANCED AUTOPARTS" to buy some new plugs n wires and while i was sitting in the driveway after starting the car i felt it jerking "as she calls it" several times as the rpm's would drop and almost die then come back up but it felt like a misfire to me.
i get out in the street and it runs fine no problems at all, I get to the gas station pull up put the car in reverse to back up to the pump and it died and now it will not start back up. it cranks and cranks and cranks but wont start.
Iv already checked everything that I know of but like i mentioned before this one has got me STUMPED!
its not the main relay
there are no blown fuses
the fuel pump is good
the fuel filter is good
its getting fuel and fire
its not the ecu ive changed it as well
changed the plugs
which leaves me clueless because its not throwing any ecu codes its got fuel its got fire everything that could of cause this problem has been looked over checked and confirmed good so im here to ask anyone who has had the same problem what it was and how u fixed it because there are tons of post on the net about this problem but not one with a confirmed problem and how it was solved.
EDIT: just to let you all also know this car is 100% untouched unmolested bone stock everything except the header which i put on there when the stock manifold cracked. other then that its never been messed with

Does the CEL work or did you check for codes with a code reader?
Is spark bright white at all four plugs?
Are all four fuel injectors pulsing fuel when the engine is cranked?
Have you checked the mechanical timing to see whether the timing belt skipped a tooth?
Have you compression tested the cylinders?

spark is bright white at all 4 plugs
im going to pull the injectors today and check them for pulse today " but hence I sprayed starter fluid in the TB and it still would not start"

I will check the mechanical timing today as well " but it does crank over to smoothly for me to believe it skipped a tooth. all though i will check and replace the timing belt today because the car is at 150K"
i will also do a compression check today " but hence the car uses no oil at all does not smoke knock tip or tap in any way its been that perfect car you could ask for"
