Jump the Service Check Connector (SCS) with a piece of wire or small paper clip, located under the passenger side dash and read the blinks for the transmission trouble code. Refer to link:

After that, disconnect the negative battery cable for a couple of minutes and reconnect or pull the ECU Memory back-up fuse (included as part of above link under ECU) to reset the Transmission Control Unit (TCU) and see if the car drives normal.
Post the trouble code(s) and results of resetting TCU.
