Project: "Dirty Deed?" a tribute to our fallen friend "BA"
This is a tribute project by the 406 Crew of Billings, Montana. Its a tribute to our friend Brandon Anderson who passed away June 13th 2009. Rest in peace "BA" this is all for you bud!
The car is a stripped and gutted EF hatch with all glass replaced with lexan except for the windshield and a fiberglass one piece front clip. Plans for the car so far are a vitara build and paint. But we'll see what happens as we all apply our ideas into the car. If you guys helping on the car have anything to add to this post, maybe change the name of the project let me know.
stripping the car down getting her ready for the roll cage and paint. thumbs up everyone!

Subscribed! Most of you have you have my number, throw me a text and I'll contribute some stripped bolts or in the very least some good beer-drinking supervision! This project honestly brings a smile to my face.

Alan - that makes two of us that can "supervise" then! Haha.
Thanks for the comments for those who don't know us. Its got a LONG way to go, but I know between all the people that were fortunate enough to know BA we will build a respectable drag car. This is a "budget build" and we are trying to utilize mostly donated and old single cam parts, but not one of us is running single cam so we should have a good start. Please keep in mind that throughout this project each one of us is also working on cars of our own. We hope progress is quick on this, but in the same respect we have to make each of our own cars a priority.
I'm ready to watch this thing roll off the trailer and into the staging lanes this spring/summer!

gota ***** some more progress! Me and sky picked up a d16z6 last night on a hell of a deal, we tore it down tonight to get a closer looK!

and then we got hungry and took a dinner break

but finally we got it tore down, took her down to El cheapo bay, in true BA fashion, for a quick powerwash and it looks like its going to be a perfect motor for a deerrrty d on some boost, and in crew spirit we threw in a thumbs up

What are you guys doing for a seat? I've got a new one of those plastic race buckets from Summit along with the cover I'd toss in for the "BA" project. Seat is red, cover is black and red. I won't be insulted if you don't want it based on color, or already have something lined up.
This one.

I might be able to deliver it this coming week, I'll be down there Tuesday-Wednesday. (as long as the weather holds).

Well, the drag car prior to us picking it up from John's shop did have one of those Summit buckets in it. Even inside a gated area (with like a 7' tall fence with barbed wire) someone managed to steal the seat. They left an aluminum fuel tank, RCI Racing Belts, Several integra interior parts worth more than the seat, and left EVERYTHING for an EF cage inside the car. We have a pretty good idea who it was, but whatever - if you want to throw it in, it would be greatly appreciated Bob! In the event we decide not to use it We would make sure to return it to you. I'm pretty sure you'd be able to find a car to put it in with all the cars you've got rolling around!
And be careful driving over. I just got home from Dickinson and 94 was a mess up until about 40 miles outside of Billings, and even then it was still a bit sketchy.

I'm gonna be in Billings Tuesday evening (1-11-2011) and from 2-5pm on Wednesday. Got a place I can drop that seat off? or meet up?
Thank you to vectorsolid for the donation of the seat! I sat in it after you left, and I fit comfortably - so if I can fit everyone else should be able to as well!
Good chatting with ya!

Can't wait to see how it all turns out. Wish I was down there helping to crack the whip on you slackers.
