k20a2 it just hit 44k mi. and all factory parts inside of it.
whats the best oil for me to put in.

 

its really depends on you... I use motul 5w40 but if I wasn't I would be using 5w30. Just don't put 5w20 in it!!!

 

mobil 1 synthet 5w30 or 0w30.... 5w20 is fine man... Acura puts mobil 1 5w20 in all the cars other than the rdx..

 

5w20 has cause issues with certain engine models... they had a problem with the EP3 that caused cam grinding! Honda stopped using 5w20 for all K20 engines...

I wouldn't go 5w20... 5w30 would be your safest bet!

 

5W30 is factory spec for the type-S

 

I'm a firm believer in Castrol. I use the new Castrol Edge 5w30

 

yea i put 0w30 in my k and mine runs great.
