I'd like to know if I can use H22 stock pistons/rods on an H23 stock crank.

Default I'd like to know if I can use H22 stock pistons/rods on an H23 stock crank.

Thanks for looking. Just a noob question. Like the title says, I'd like to know if I can accomplish this? Also, if it is doable, would I need to use H22 rod and main bearings?

depends on the year the h22 combo comes from. I am not sure why you would do this but i hope you do not attempt to do this...

Why not? Other than having really high compression it works just fine. The rod journals are the same size. Im using h22 rods

The pistons and rods are out of a 94 si vtec, going into an H23 block/crank with an H23 head. The reason for this is cuz I have all these extra parts laying around, and besides, I need a stock rebuild for my 92 si. I really cant afford anything else. So, I need to know if this will work?

i think you may be off on your bore, civic is 84mm and the h22 is 87mm.

It's a 92 Prelude si with an H23. Not a Civic si.

using the h23 head, you are going to run into even higher compression and trying to run it on pump gas may not work in your favor. The combustion chamber on the h23 head is about 3cc smaller and thats if the head has never been milled.
