Will my 2000 civic fit this tire & rim size?
Hello all,
I have a 2000 civic ex coupe with Rota J-Specials(black with chrome lip) with tire size 195/50-15. I recently didn't notice one of my tires had very low tire pressure and I slightly bent a rim and being i wanted new rims soon anyway I decided this would be the best time to get them. .My car is lowered on H&R Sport springs on Koni oranges. The front of my car is lowered about 1.75-Front, and 1.5-Rear. I was wondering if my car would fit a tire & rim combo size of 205/40-17? I was thinking about getting the O.Z Energy rims or the Motegi Racing MR116 from tire rack, if they will fit. Also im open for any advice on which type of rims i should get, keep in mind im on a budget?

If the wheels have the proper offset, 205/40-17 should work. It's the same outer diameter as your stock size of 185/65-14. Incidentally, 195/50-15 is a bit smaller than stock; with 15" wheels you would be better off with 195/55-15 (same diameter as stock) or 205/50-15 (only slightly smaller).
