do all EF's have the Auto seatbelts ?? i'm looking to buy one and i don't want Auto belts..

 

The 1988 and 1989 sedans did not. In addition, CRXes did not have the automatic seatbelts. But, the seatbelt location did move from the B pillar to the door in 1989 for the Si and Dx and in 1990 for the HF. I'm not sure about the hatchbacks, I haven't had a chance to look at one up close.

My 91 Civic STD hatch has them in the door.

BTW... can I move it, to the B pillar?????

 

if by automatic seatbelts you mean the kind that move up the A pillar, then none of the 88-91s ever had them, in fact, i can't think of any honda that had them. 88's usually have the seatbelts mounted to the frame, 89-91's usually have the seatbelts mounted to the doors.

 

some of the sedans do have them. Not sure which year, but some of the Ef sedans had them.

 

My 1991 Dx sedan has them...hehe...they are a pain but I did get an insurance discount for having them.

 

Same here my '91 has them too! But i dont get a discount, well at least i dont think so
