Do you still have the factory 22mm front sway bar?

How low would you like to be? Do you like how the car curruntly drives?
Is it your Daily driver?

Personaly I would go a bit higher, Maybe 400-450 up front and 350-400 in rear, But this is just my personal opinon.

the ground control sleeves have to be specific to koni sports or not

there really isn't a better shock in this price range

what tires are you going to use? need to know for the rates

i don't mean size either, need tread compound or at least a make and utqg rating

btw what's a 97 ek sedan? is that a 97 civic coupe? like 2dr with the trunk?

right now, im running KUMHO ASX

Serv. Desc: 86W
Load Index 86 = 1168lbs (530kg) per tire
Speed Rating "W" = 168mph (270kph)
UTQG: Treadwear: 420
Traction: AA
Temperature: A
420 AA A

sorry, i have a EJ6.. and its going to be DD and maybe auto cross

so i was reading up on some site, they said beside is 350F/300R

as for tire, i will be switching in and out. i think the next setup would be yokohama S-drive or bridgestone G-force

damn it, now i have to google what an ej6 is....okay a civic coupe, let's see what this thing weighs ....2650 ish...okay it will set up just like an integra, i've never liked the whole vin tag body code thing..too much crap to memorize

with those rocks of tires you have stiffer springs are going to make the car communicate less and not really do a lot to improve time. 300/250 would work and or 350/300

380/250 is an understeer combo

use an 8" ers spring in 350/300 which will also be a good match if you get a sportier tire like the s drive. if you had someone else say 350/300 for your setup i second the motion. that's a good combo at your weight with those tire choices and that sway bar

rates up around 500/450 are really designed for yoke advan ado8, kumho xs level tires that can benefit from that reduced body movement. with a harder tire 350/300 is still going to feel sporty but you will have some body movement that will help you feel what's going on with the tire.

hmm...looking....found one weighed at 2438...2392...wonder where that first tool came up with 2650. well, if you're at 2400, the game still applies, it just will feel slightly stiffer than at 2650...i agree 350/300 is the way to go.

order em up

420 treadwear and 24mm rear sway? Sounds like a recipe for massive lift-throttle oversteer. Be very careful around sweeping corners on the street, especially when it's wet.

What kind of Kyb?
If the AGX, the koni will still blow that thing out of the water.

Guess there was a duplicate of this thread that someone else moved here, so threads have been merged.
