95100 compcam For Z6 in my Y8 HELP!
I got a 95100 cam from compcams. Its meant for a d16z6. its going in a y8
Ive read that If i use a z6 cam and camgear Ill be fine. But if i use the y8 cam I its advanced by 1 tooth (or 3*)... Is this correct?
Thing is i have an aftermarket camgear IIRC for 88-00 I forgot what company makes it (has a valve cover thanks to the popos/state ref)
Im trying to set everything to TDC so what would be "stock" setting with it set a 0*
advanced by 3* even though its a 88-00 cam?
Or is it advance by 5* (4 1/2* but rounded to 5*)?
EDIT: Please dont tell me "get the right cam for the right motor"/u should get a stage 2... Thanks!
