Default saving a prelude

my friend owns a 1998 5th gen prelude with an h22a4 swap running about 160xxx miles. when he bought it, it had a slight ticking noise so the first thing we did was add some oil and give it an oil change.

the ticking didnt seem to change so eventually we did a cam adjustment on it. even after the cam adjustment its still ticking.

also it had an oil leak i believe may be coming from oil pan which recently got severe. maybe its just a gasket, hopefully not a cracked block.

also its leaking break fluid from somewhere on the clutch which is progressively getting worse.

its a dd so i havent had a chance to really look at it yet but i will sometime in the next few days. i was hoping to get some feedback from someone with a similar experience or who knows this engine or knows about engine swaps.
yes i have searched.

tips or help on any of these problems is much appreciated.

crappy gas can cause ticking

get your fuel from a reputable place like bp, amoco, shell, texaco and make sure you have the correct octane.
